School’s done, now what? (Derrick Sobodash)

Surprise! It’s been over a year since the last time I updated this page. Today seemed like a good day to do it. A lot’s happened in the last year. I’ve picked up some projects and dropped others. I probably would have been a bit more productive but I spend the last semester taking some back-breaking 400-level courses while working at The Oakland Post.

I’ve learned three things from all that:

  1. Law of the Press is the Thermodynamics of Journalism
  2. Schools and Police Departments really don’t like following the law
  3. Quitting isn’t always an option

Thankfully, the semester is over, I survived, and now it’s time to get on with things I really want to be doing – playing Virtua Fighter and drinking. Nah, but I do need to catch up on four month’s time. I didn’t even get to switch my Super Famicon on except for a few code tests.

So what’s happening? Well since Jumpstation.org was (quite rudely) deleted by my former host, Hostik, it’s been taken over by byuu. Don’t bug me about its content.

I’m still chugging along on the same stuff as before – though I’m not releasing it. I just can’t justify letting people who hate me enjoy the results of my working hundreds of hundreds of hours for free. WOW! YOU LOSE!!
